The Story

A different way to build software.

Aylward Solutions logo mark

Aylward Solutions exists because most software projects don't fail for technical reasons. They fail because of distance: between the people paying for the work and the people doing it, between what was promised and what was actually built, between speed and quality. Closing that distance is the whole point.

Every project is run directly by the founder. There are no account managers, no handoffs, and no layers between the conversation and the code. The result is software that's built the way it was discussed, delivered when it was promised, and supported long after launch.

Background

Where the work comes from.

  1. 01

    Construction Safety

A working background in construction safety, where compliance, risk management, and real-world consequence shape every decision. That same discipline informs how Aylward Solutions builds and protects software.

  2. 02

    Computer Science & Software Engineering

Formal training at Maynooth University in Computer Science and Software Engineering: modern engineering principles, sound architecture, and a strong foundation in how good software is actually built.

  3. 03

    Applied Experience

Hands-on building across web, mobile, AI, cloud, and brand design. Theory grounded in real, shipped work.

How We Work

Four principles that don't bend.

  1. 01

    Founder-led, end to end.

The person you speak to is the person doing the work. No middle layers, no lost context.

  2. 02

    Built properly, not just quickly.

Modern tooling, clean architecture, and code written to be maintained. Shortcuts cost more than they save.

  3. 03

    Transparent from day one.

Progress is shared, not hidden. Decisions are explained. Surprises are avoided wherever possible.

  4. 04

    Available after launch.

Software isn't finished at launch. Long-term support is part of how every project is delivered.

Safety, Security & Compliance

Standards that hold under deadlines.

Every project is delivered against a clear set of security, privacy, and quality commitments. These are non-negotiable, regardless of scope or budget.

  1. 01

    GDPR Compliance

All projects are designed and built in line with GDPR. Personal data is collected only when necessary, stored only as long as required, and handled with full transparency.

  2. 02

    Data Encryption

Client and user data is encrypted in transit and at rest using current industry standards. Sensitive credentials are stored using dedicated secrets management, never in plain text.

  3. 03

    Secure Hosting & Infrastructure

Projects are deployed on reputable providers with strong security records: AWS, Google Cloud, Vercel, Cloudflare, and equivalents. HTTPS is enforced everywhere, with regular updates and monitoring in place.

  4. 04

    Code Quality & Review

Every project uses version control, structured code review, and testing appropriate to the stack. Nothing is shipped that hasn't been checked, and nothing leaves the workshop broken.

  5. 05

    Backups & Continuity

Production data and code are backed up on schedules suited to the project. Recovery procedures are documented so that, in the rare event something goes wrong, restoration is quick and predictable.

  6. 06

    Confidentiality

Client work is treated as private by default. NDAs are available on request, and no project details or assets are ever shared without explicit, written permission.

Let's build something worth keeping.

Whether it's a website, a custom application, an AI tool, a cloud platform, or a full brand identity. Aylward Solutions takes on projects where the work is meant to last. If that sounds like the kind of partnership you're looking for, the next step is a conversation.
